Karma exists?

In Beira my main goal is to get money and at the fourth bank I visit I am lucky. Beira is not very interesting but I treat myself on a dinner at the beach. When I go back to the hotel I meet two South African couples. They invite me for drinks. I didn’t see tourists since I left Blantyre so I am quite happy. During the evening I tell them how lucky I was during the first part of my trip. When I go back to my room they call me and ask me to come back. Than they offer me 200 dollar which I should keep for emergency cases (later they tell me that I should use a part for diving). They insist I take the money and I wonder what I did to be helped by so money people in this (crazy) trip.
